About The Issuer

The Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited (APMDC) is a wholly owned undertaking of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, established on February 24, 1961. Headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana, APMDC is engaged in the exploration, mining, processing, and marketing of various minerals, including barytes, bauxite, limestone, granite, and iron ore. The corporation is a significant global producer of barytes, contributing approximately 90-95% of India's total production. Additionally, APMDC has diversified into coal mining, with commercial production commencing at the Suliyari coal block in Madhya Pradesh in 2022.
